Angel’s Envy introduces the first three installments of its Cellar Collection Series, a groundbreaking trio in the bourbon industry. This collection features three exceptional bourbons, each finished in a unique type of fortified wine barrel, reflecting the brand’s dedication to crafting innovative whiskey experiences.
The inaugural release, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is enhanced by the depth of Oloroso Sherry casks, boasting a 50% alcohol by volume (ABV). Its aroma intertwines sweet notes of raisin and hazelnut, while the palate offers a robust oak character with the sherry cask’s signature dryness. The finish elegantly shifts from sweet to a delicate floral aftertaste.
The second volume elevates the experience with its maturation in Tawny Port wine barrels, presenting a higher ABV of 55.8%. It greets the senses with aromas of dried fruit and oak, leading to a palate rich with black pepper, toasted nuts, and a hint of cinnamon spice. The finish is both subtle and enduring, evoking the sensation of dried fruit enrobed in dark chocolate.
Completing the trilogy, the third volume matures in Madeira casks, matching the first’s ABV at 50%. Its aroma is a complex bouquet of caramelized banana, brown sugar, and a medley of nuts and cherries, while the palate reveals layers of toasted oak, grass, smoke, and rich chocolate, culminating in a gratifying finish adorned with almond and hazelnut notes.
Angel’s Envy presents these limited-edition bourbons in sophisticated packaging that mirrors the elegance of classic literature, with only 8,000 units available, underscoring their exclusivity and desirability.
